Eulalia Delarosa, Board MemberJudge Eulalia "Evie" De La Rosa was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Chicago's Humboldt Park/Logan Square community. She graduated from Von Steuben High School in 1994, George Washington University in 1998 and Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003.
Prior to serving on the bench, she was a Cook County Public Defender for 12 years. Judge De La Rosa is currently assigned to the Cook County Maywood courthouse, where she hears criminal matters. Judge De La Rosa is a past president of the PRBA, and currently serves as a board member. In addition, she is a board member of the Illinois Latino Judges Association, a member of the Illinois Judges Association and a member of the Hispanic Lawyer's Association of Illinois. |
