Judge Lucy Vazquez-Gonzalez, VP/President ElectLucy Vazquez-Gonzalez is an attorney concentrating in family law. At the young age of 15, Lucy left the turmoil and negative environment of her childhood home and set out to create a safer life for herself. She knew that she’d experienced much more than most children her age, but recognized there must be others who were facing similar issues. “There’s got to be somebody out there who can help us,” she remembers thinking. At that point, Lucy made it her ultimate goal to someday be in a position where she could improve the lives of families and children.
Having experienced a particularly difficult childhood, Lucy Vazquez made it her goal to "be the voice for those who did not have a voice of their own". Lucy Vazquez-Gonzalez embodies all the attributes of a strong child and family law advocate. Lucy is now an elected Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, |
